My mum used to wear a lot of tan and terracotta colours when we were growing up and I thought she looked so chic. They’re everywhere in the shops at the moment.
This is a separate top and trousers from Zara.TopTrousers
Here on me with a terracotta linen jacket and Office sandals (20% off with summer20) and M&S heart sunnies. The jacket is a bit creased. It’s linen mix so that’s always going to happen but it’s been in a bag for a few days as they left the security tag on and I had to go back and get it removed. M&S have 20% off clothes, shoes and beauty at the moment if you have a Sparks card.
Look at these beauties.Bold Stan Smiths with snakeprint.
The sizing on line seems odd but is quite right. I’m a 7 but ordered a 40 which they say is a 6.5 and they fit perfectly (like my other size 7 Stans)Here on my with a just seen blue and black Zara zebra print dress.
My love for black and gold is well documented. I’ve misplaced (this is a hopeful way of saying that they are probably lost) my black and gold Ancient Greeks so these have replaced them for now.And you know me, if the shoes fits but them in every colour. Well, just black and nude.Excuse my injured foot – I made an ill judged decision to break in my Mother’s Day Ancient Greeks on a long walk across London. Summer20 will get you 20% off all Office own brand shoes.
Finally these Hermes tributes are from M&S. The tan that I liked sold out as soon as they released their most recent Sparks 20% off but there are still white and ochre in stock. I tried an 8 in my local store which was all they had left (I’m a 7) and they were horribly baggy around the ankle. They were of course too big but someone else has told me they had the same problem and returned them…. Hasn’t stopped me looking!
An outfit thrown together around my new bag. It’s really lovely! I’ve been looking for a tan bag with gold toned details for ages. This easily fits sunglasses, purse, phone, a lipstick and the pack of cards I constantly carry to keep my kids entertained.
Dress, bag, sandals. You can just about see the other colourway of this dress hanging in my wardrobe.
My headband is from H&M. I only bought it last week but it’s sold out. I have this, this and this one too. It’s worth keeping an eye on their website. This orange one is excellent quality, better than my Anthropology ones actually.
Sandals & similar anklet.
I have lots of new things to share but real life is a bit manic at the moment so I’m rushing off but I’ll be back soon.
These are beautiful and could easily be five times the price. They’ve even tempted me away from my gold hoops!
This necklace is much nicer in real life and is really flattering over a tshirt / shirt dress. It can be worn tight or loose, I have worn mine every day since I got it. Not bad for less than a fiver.
Comfy, black leather and gold studs. What’s not to love?
Per Una has had a bad rep – lots of chiffon, jazzy colours and fancy gear to wear on cruises. Maybe I’m getting old and losing my way, maybe Per Una is changing but I’ve bought quite a lot there recently.
I’ve had this dress for a few weeks and worn it a lot. It looked like it might be a bit see through but it’s not. It comes in this cream/tan colour way too which I am tempted by. I took my usual size.
Now this dress deserves talking about. It’s a linen mix and could be from Cos or similar. It didn’t suit me – these drawstring waists just don’t work on my shape – but it’s a lovely dress, particularly in the navy. I’d wear it with trainers but it would be a great summer work dress with low slingbacks.
This doesn’t look like anything on the hanger but it’s a brilliant jacket. I’m over the moon with mine (size down)
These aren’t Per Una but they’re really good quality – they look good and are very comfy. Comfy and per Una in one sentence – what’s happened to me?!
