I don’t usually buy multiples of the same item but I really, really love this dress. Cos bring it out in different colourways/prints every year. A/W version here. I wore it to work today, such an easy, breezy item.
The fit is a bit neater this season, perfect for my petite frame and all the more reason to buy more. It’s also currently available in plain black.
The Cos website seems to be stressed out due to the sale otherwise I’d link to it – it’s on there.
Ahh here it is! Also, the colour is a dark midnight blue rather than black.
Note to self: must dust mirror EVERYday!
The top is beautifully cut and very flaterring. The trousers are a recent purchase, 96% cotton and £59.
Top – Topshop (I’m wearing a size 4, still instore), trousers – COS (current season), shoes – Comptoir des Cotonniers, bracelet – Whistles, bag – Mandarina Duck (from the days before the term ‘pop of colour’ was invented).
The humble duffle coat. A timeless classic, I adore them and have several.
If you’re petite and happen to be passing Topshop do check this out in the sale racks. It’s now only £30, sold out online but still instore. The wool mix fabric is the type that doesn’t look like it’ll bobble and the colour is a beautiful deep green. Neat and minimal, I reckon I’ll be wearing it for years. Even the buttons are cool and it has a hood.
With temperatures here struggling to get up to double figures, this feels perfect just now – incredibly warm but without the bulk of my puffa jacket.
Coat – Topshop (I’m wearing a petite size 4), trousers – Cos, boots – Celtic & Co, jumper – Comptoir des Cotonniers
Although not a classic double-breasted trench, this is one of my forever coats. It’s just so useful and easy to wear. The colour looks washed out in the photos but it’s actually jet black and I think it adds a certain degree of polish to my usual casual attire.
Coat – Comptoir des Cotonniers, Jeans – J Brand, Sweatshirt – Cos, Boots – Deena & Ozz, Bag – Prada. All old favourites.
Plumeting temperatures mean it’s ALL about layering.
This sleeveless cardigan is new instore and just beautiful; 100% lambswool, fully reversible, perfect drape – the photos don’t do it justice etc.. I haven’t got round to removing the care label but will blog the reverse side another time. The fabric feels like boiled wool and doesn’t look as though it’ll bobble, love, love, LOVE.
Extreme layering: vest (unseen),long sleeved top – Isabella Oliver , 2 jumpers (both COS), COS sleeveless cardigan, snood – Brora, gloves – Ugg, cords – J Brand, chunky necklace -H&M
and minus a few layers for indoors…
