Dancing Shoes

Three nights out in a week. Unheard of for me in recent years.

I tried on so many outfits and came to the conclusion that my going out gear is as dated as my going out days. I may need to do some shopping. What do you wear to go out out?

On Tuesday I went to see Beyoncé at the O2 with my sisters. An audience with Mrs Carter (& my sisters) required sparkle and I tried varying degrees of blingy.
Mango black matte sequin tshirt and Zara sequin harems. I like this but the black wedge sandals I usually wear with it were too summery and nothing else looked right.
Old sparkly harems with pleather waistband, Mango sequin black tee with a very old black tuxedo jacket from Next, Topshop heels.

I tried my Reiss sequin shorts but as always I struggled on the top half. I think it’s time I eBayed them.

I tried my Zara harem jumpsuit from last year. I love it but am not sure the tight waistband is flattering on me. The cross over neck line is very revealing and I’ve not yet found something to wear under it. And it was a bit chilly on Tuesday so back in the wardrobe it went.

Not blingy enough for Beyoncé though I love this Cos dress I first saw on Jasmine WornOut and got in the sale (with Mint Velvet pleather leggings and Acne Pistols)

Zara neoprene flower dress, Mint Velvet leggings, Next bomber jacket, Adidas hi tops. I might wear this at the weekend but wasn’t right for an evening out.

Black cashmere jumper, Mint Velvet leggings, Adidas hi tops. Again, good for a weekend.

In the end I decided I would want to dance and settled on Zara ripped jeans, Zara bow kitten heels, Mango matt sequin tshirt, Zara leather lapel blazer, Zara black shearling stole, red leather Gap clutch. Pretty boring but it felt right.

Last night I went out for dinner with two friends. No dancing but lots of laughing.
Cos Pixel dress, Mint Velvet leggings, Acne Pistols, Zara jacket. Ignore the chaos in the background. The days of unhurriedly getting ready to go out with a glass of wine and blaring tunes are long gone!

That’s it for my going out for a while. I’m doing a race in May and am swapping dancing shoes for running shoes as of today. Wish me luck.

I really love the outfit you wore just perfect stylish, comfortable and tres chic. The children in the background makes the picture so good just made me smile.
