Quick post on what I have ordered in the sales, now that they are all ON!
Despite feeling disappointed that 1) Zara don’t reduce their prices by much in the sales, at least initially; and 2) I had already bought most of what I wanted when it was full price, I have managed to log on and make a few purchases…
Navy studded TRF blazer: this is a fab looking blazer in real life, and with a high cotton % content and a decent sale reduction (from £50 to £30), this was first into my shopping bag.
Then came this cream blazer with a metallic thread. I haven’t seen in in real life, but it has a high cotton % content (not keen on too much poly) and a good looking shape, as well as a decent sale reduction:
As I haven’t actually seen it, who knows what it will actually be like!
I must admit that I don’t have high hopes for this silk and cotton shirt (think the bagginess might look terrible on me), but its natural fibres and £20 price tag mean I will give it a try:
I chanced upon these while looking for something else on the website, and thought that these printed needle cord skinnies looked interesting (not camouflage and not floral, so worth trying, no?), and look, they are reduced (only from £40 to £30, but anyway…);
While we are on the subject of Zara, recent good purchases which are now reduced include:
These very flattering super skinnies (now £20):
This mad little clutch bag, which is gorgeous, suede and only £30 now [sighs]:
And, since I don’t just love Zara (despite how it seems), I was genuinely delighted to see this gorgeous looking Mint Velvet wine saddle bag reduced from £120 to £90, and am thankful to Beth at Style Guile for first bringing it to my attention. I have only 1 other piece of Mint Velvet, so don’t think to look there. However, this bag might tick all my boxes (no logo, flat straps, mid-size, nice colour, reasonable price). I will report back! :
When I have another spot of time, will also blog my Mango sales order. I missed out on this beautiful pencil leather skirt , though – nooo! I need a Medium as it comes up small, but its lovely quality and now only £50. If you spot a medium in your travels, please let me know!
